Published!

The fabulous Sur La Terre magazine has featured my photographs in it's last three issues, including coverage of London Fashion Week, a feature on Matthew Williamson and this time a rather special Polo match at Windsor Great Park. Guess who made an appearance!

Check out my amazingly talented friend, Writer and Stylist, Sophie Jones-Cooper. We make pretty neat work of covering events like these. We fit right in, though I do say so myself!

Lula

I've just had a lovely time photographing these beautiful toys, handmade by Katie Beeke of Lula. Katie and I met when I bought one of her toys at Mill Road Winter Fair. When she saw my website she asked me to photograph her new collection.

Katie is such a brilliant person and I feel so happy to be involved in her business and to have a new friend.

...or friends!

We all went for a little a walk together!

It's an ongoing project. I'm coming up with some different ideas for where to photograph them next.

More to come!

Charlotte Ash Gardens

Now you'd be forgiven for thinking that these images were taken at the Chelsea Flower Show but actually we have a green fingered star on our doorstep, here in Cambridge!

Charlotte is a fabulous gardener who is just setting up business, having passed her RHS Level One qualification with flying colours. She asked me to photograph these beautiful pots that she designed and planted earlier in the year, now they are in full bloom and attracting the busiest of bees!

Char is a pretty busy bee herself so get in there quick if you'd like her to come and work her magic on your garden.

Natalie and Paul's Wedding

Early in the morning, there was a crowd gathering for Natalie and Paul's big day at Parklands in Quendon.

It was a beautiful May day and the flowers were in full bloom in the grounds of this gorgeous venue.

The details were a pleasure to photograph. I especially loved Natalie's dress...

...and stunning tiara. Kate Middleton, eat your heart out!

There were two princesses preparing to make their way up the aisle for the lucky man.

Sienna just couldn't wait to see the look on her daddy's face when he saw her in that dress!

Meanwhile, there was some serious sprucing up going on in a nearby room...

...with all hands on deck for those tricky bits!

Paul really did look like a charming prince in his dashing waistcoat and red tie.

Natalie's dad did a perfect job of leading her up the aisle.

...and her bridesmaids excelled in their roles of looking beautiful in their sexy, full length, black gowns.

The gorgeous little ceremony was intimate and romantic. These two have been waiting for a while to get married...

...and it was so clear how delighted they were to be in each other's arms as man and wife, at last!

Natalie and Paul were glad for some time out as I took their photographs in the grounds and surrounding area of Parklands.

If I'd had my way I'd have carried on all day but the happy couple needed to get back to their loving families for a wonderful wedding breakfast of turkey with all the trimmings!

At the first opportunity he had to dance with his new wife, Paul really whisked Natalie off her feet...

...and they both lived happily ever after.

Katie is a great friend of mine and a brilliant illustrator. She is just launching her new business. Katie makes the most exquisite children's wallpaper which I can't wait to photograph soon.

In the mean time, I shot these portraits of Katie to go on to her shiny new website. It's going to be fab. Keep an eye on www.katiebourneinteriors.com
Good luck, Katie ; )

Rachel Rose

Rachel is an amazing photographer and my wonderful friend and mentor. She was kind enough to give me some work experience for a week.

Even though we're best of friends, we did get on with a lot of work - honest!
I took these pictures under her supervision!

Dundee offered us some really great light. Thanks for being the best teacher ever, Rach!

Natalie and Paul

Natalie and Paul are such a lovely couple. They are really laid back and fun. Their gorgeous baby, Sienna was just around 3 months old when we went to Hylands Park in Chelmsford for their engagement shoot.

We met at the cafe and I was inspired by the sweet little cup cakes they were selling, especially as I had spotted a perfect location on my way through the park.

Natalie and Paul walk their dog, Mozart here every weekend so 'Mozzie' was eager to get on with his normal walk. First thing's first, after all!

We headed over to this fairy tale house for a few shots of the happy couple who are getting married next month. The cup cakes came in handy to get these two giggling - not that they needed much encouragement!

Natalie is a really relaxed mummy. It really is a pleasure to watch her and Paul with Sienna. What a cute baby!

I really can't wait to see these two get married.

Looking forward to it, guys! x

Bower's Albums

Well, it's a busy time for me this Easter - hooray! It was with the greatest of pleasure that I was able to give these albums to Anne. She bought one for each of her daughters. Actually, one of these little beauties is on it's way to Australia!

These gorgeous albums are particularly well travelled. They came to me from The States first, I carefully filled them with lovely prints and then sent them on their way again.

They come in a range of lovely silks. I think Anne chose a couple of my favourites.

I hope you love them as much as I do, ladies. Enjoy!

Sophie and Alex are Getting Married!

This gorgeous pair actually got engaged in Spain in 2009 so I thought it was about time I took some photographs... especially now they're about to set the date! Sophie and Alex came to stay with me in Cambridge so I had the chance to take them to some of my favourite locations.

It was a beautiful Spring day and the flowers were in full bloom, as was Sophie and Alex's love for each other. They really are an amazing couple and I am so excited to be a bridesmaid at their wedding later this year.

Sophie and I had been to the wedding open day at Burwash Manor the day before where we bought lollipops from Joali. They were perfect props for Alex to have us in fits of laughter with. Don't they look fab?!!

At last the summer's here! We had such a relaxing and fun weekend. Enjoy the planning, guys. Can't wait!

Sandra and Arthur's Albums

The happy couple received their beautiful, bespoke wedding albums just in time for a family bbq last week. I was with them as Sandra, Arthur and Sandra's mum and dad each looked through the 10x10" main album.
Everyone loved it! Sandra said it surpassed her expectations and was outstanding to any wedding album she'd ever seen! I wish I'd been recording her reaction. It was enough to give me goose bumps. I just love this job!
