It was so wonderful to be a part of Jilly and Rupert's day. Not only is Jilly a beautiful girl from the inside out but she is a friend of mine and has married the man of her dreams.
The day started with bridal preparations at The Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds with a fantastic view of Bury Cathedral from Jilly's window.
Jilly has wonderful taste and had themed the whole wedding red, white and blue. She really was the most stunning bride.
...and Rupert did his regiment proud.
The ceremony was really fun and included a hilarious reading of lyrics from the Jason and Kylie song, 'Especially for you'!
Afterwards, the fabulous couple looked just the part under the aisle of swords.
There were some brilliant speeches, and a medal giving ceremony...
...and then Jilly put on her customised Converse and the dancing began.
I know Jilly and Rupert will be very happy together forever, starting with their adventure in Cyprus.
